"This offers a unique way of travel," she said. "They can all travel together, even an extended family."
That's how it worked for Perry Graham and six teenagers on a spring ski trip to Aspen, Colo. They stayed for several days in a first-class RV park in Aspen. The park had electrical and cable hook-ups and hot shoers, Graham said.
"In order for us to stay in Aspen, it would have been $300 or $400 a night per room and I would have needed two rooms," he said. "If you're going to take six teenagers to Aspen, which is arguably one of the most expensive places in North America to go skiing, this is the way to do it."
Using the RV was a bonding experience and a convenience. They could microwave popcorn, stop for sandwiches and the kids could play video games, he said.
